Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang University, Korea’s first public university, was established in March 1996. It is a public university established in Gyeongsangnam-do to nurture sincere and creative convergence technicians necessary for the development of the country and Gyeongnam’s key industries.
Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang University has established itself as a small but strong university, serving as a local public junior college through full budget support from Gyeongsangnam-do and securing budgets for various government financial support projects from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Employment and Labor to support the training of human resources required by local industries.
