The new symbol was developed in a wordmark format using ‘SAU’, the English initials of Shinansan University. The shape of ‘s’ and ‘a’ facing each other harmonizes character, intelligence, expertise and creativity, and represents the university and the region. It symbolically expresses the design concept of ‘Go Together’, where society moves forward together. Also, the arrow at the top symbolizes progress toward the future.
