There is a special type of F-2 visa, F-2-99, for people who have stayed in Korea continuously for more than 5-7 years. F-2-99 visa is for D-1, D-5, D-6, D-7, D-8, D-9, E-6-1, E-6-3, F-1, F-3 visa holders who have stayed in the country for more than 7 years, and for E-1, E-2, E-3, E-4, E-5, E-7-3, E-7-4 visa holders who have stayed in the country for more than 5 years
1) Financial requirements: Savings/real estate worth more than 30 million won (does not have to be in the name of the applicant; it can be in the name of any household member)
2) Except for the E-7 visa, which requires the income level to be GNI 1.5 or higher, the income level must be GNI level or higher (e.g., approximately 336 million won or higher).
3) Language requirement: TOPIK or KIIP level 2 or higher.
